Business majors must meet specific requirements to be admitted to the College of Business. Until admitted, there are restrictions on the number and types of business courses for which the student is eligible to register. Business majors who are not yet officially admitted to the College of Business can take any business courses at the 1000 and 2000 level, but no more than five business courses at the 3000/4000 level.

There is no application process for admission to the College of Business. All students who meet the requirements for admission will be automatically admitted (occasionally, especially for transfer students, certain admission requirements are not recognized by the programming that admits the student. In these cases, the students should contact the COB Advising Office for assistnace with admission).

While requirements for admission to the Walker College of Business typically do not change significantly from year to year, there will occasionally be changes. Students must meet the requirements in place in the catalog under which the student is graduating.
